On July 9, around 1 am, a resident noticed a man outside their home tampering with a camera.

The resident called the police and the suspect fled from the scene.

“We encourage the public to always report suspicious activities in their neighbourhood,” said Cst. Sofie Winkels.

“Since then, police have obtained a photo and are releasing it to the public with the hope that someone will recognize the person and reach out to investigators.”

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to the investigation is asked to call the RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2025-21868.
