The Kamloops RCMP are asking members of the public to help them identify two people of interest in a recent assault with a weapon report.
On Tuesday, Nov. 28, around 2:20 am, officers were called to the 300-block of Victoria Street, where they located a man with visible injuries.
A release says the suspect was involved in an altercation and was asked to leave by an employee at the location.
However, the suspect allegedly pulled out a sharp object and assaulted the employee then threatened him.
The victim was treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a dark complexion, standing about 6’3” with dark hair and a bushy bear.
“Since the initial response, police have acquired security images featuring two people of interest: a man and a woman who officers would like to identify to help further the investigation,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.
“The pair may have left in a dark sedan.”
Anyone who may have information that can help identify the man or the woman is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at (250) 828-3000 and reference file 2023-42116.
