On May 26 at around 6 pm, police responded to the Summit Drive and McGill Road intersection after a woman in her 20s had attempted to cross Summit Drive, but was struck by a white car.

The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene and the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The Kamloops RCMP are hoping that by releasing a photo of the vehicle involved in the incident, the public will be able to identify the registered owner of the vehicle and advance their investigation," said Cpl. Dana Napier.

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2025-16134.
