A large police presence in Aberdeen on Tuesday was due to a search warrant being executed on Sifton Avenue.
On Wednesday, the police said the responding officer removed over a dozen firearms from the house.
According to the RCMP, the Southeast District Emergency Response Team was called in due to the high-risk nature of the search warrant.
In addition to the firearms, a “significant” amount of drugs, stolen property and vehicles were also seized.
One person was arrested but later released as part of the investigation.
Charges are expected, police said.
