Kamloops RCMP suspect seek suspect who allegedly stole $700 in merchandise

The Kamloops RCMP are looking to identify a suspect in an ongoing shoplifting investigation.

Police responded to the 1000-block of Hillside Drive on Sept. 14, around 7 pm, for a report of a theft.

The RCMP said the suspect allegedly entered a local store and stole a backpack.

He reportedly filled it with about $700 worth of clothes jewelry before leaving the store.

“Police are releasing images of the suspect in an attempt to identify them as part of the investigation,” said Corporal Dana Napier.

In a news release, the RCMP said the suspect is described as Filipino, 25 years old, 5’3” with an average build.

He was wearing a black hoodie and black shorts.

The RCMP ask anyone who has information to call the detachment at (250) 828-3000 and cite file 2025-30569.
