The North Shore Community Policing Office has gone to the dogs following some much-needed renovations.
In order to accommodate the four-legged members of the RCMP K9 Unit, the office underwent some upgrading.
New amenities include a climate-controlled garage bay equipped with storage and commercial wash bay.
This new renovation has completely transformed the building into a fully functional policing office that includes new forensic ident bay, the K9 unit and office and meeting space for the traffic unit, crime prevention officers and some general duty officers.
The new space will also be home to the municipal community policing and crime prevention coordinators and Crime Stoppers to provide training and meeting space for volunteers.
