Kamloops RCMP uses multiple officers to arrest man linked to domestic violence investigation

Kamloops RCMP needed to use multiple units when trying to locate a suspect this afternoon.

According to police, at 12:45 pm, police arrested a 22-year-old man from Kamloops at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Victoria Street.

The arrest needed multiple officers as the man fled from police after being spotted on 5th Avenue and Lansdowne Street. The man was wanted for a mischief offence in relation to a domestic violence investigation.

All investigational material will now be forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service who will determine the charges. The man is being held for a court appearance on Wednesday.

NowMedia will update the story when more information is available.
