The Kamloops YMCA-YWCA hosted their annual Y Dream Home Lottery this morning and it was full of happy winners.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the draw was done via live stream instead of in person. A total of 30 prizes were handed out, which included the likes of gift cards, gas cards, a 50/50 draw, and a brand-new, state-of-the-art home.
The winner of the home, valued at $696,800, went to Nicole Larson. The 50/50 draw, which was worth $198,842.50, was awarded to Romans Manyiel.
This year's Y Dream home features hardwood flooring, 9' ceilings throughout the main floor, low-emission windows, an open-concept kitchen, a two-car garage, and much more. It is located in the Valleyview Corridor at 160-Grand Boulevard, just a 10-minute walk from downtown.
