Kamloops has ordered nearly 5,000 Junior Chickens via SkipTheDishes this year

Kamloops is clearly quite the hungry city!

According to Melanie Fatouros-Richardson, the External Communications Manager for SkipTheDishes, in 2019 alone, the River City has ordered 4,700 Junior Chickens from McDonald's via the SkipTheDishes app.

"That’s enough Junior Chickens to fill more than 85% of the Sandman Centre during a Blazers game, and the year’s not even over yet," wrote Fatouros-Richardson.

Coming second to the JCs, nearly 4,000 Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers have been ordered from Wendy's, which amounts to 15 burgers a day. Rounding off Kamloops' top three was Miso Soup which has had 3,000 individual orders this year.

The largest order SkipTheDishes filled in Kamloops during 2019 was for $508.25. This meal included five salmon zen bowls, multiple cheesecakes and pudding, as well as numerous rice bowls, salads, and tacos.
