**Editor's note: This story has been amended to state that the incident in the 8000 block of Barnhartvale Road involved a motorcyclist.**
The Kamloops and Tk’emlups RCMP are investigating a trio of separate incidents that each claimed a life on Saturday.
In a news release sent out Sunday, police stated that at 5:30 pm last night, they responded to a motor vehicle incident in the 8000 block of Barnhartvale Road.
The incident claimed the life of the 18-year-old motorcycle rider and is being investigated by the Kamloops Traffic Services.
Tk’emlups RCMP are investigating a drowning that occurred on Saturday in Tobiano. Police stated that no further details are being released at this point in time.
Tk’emlups RCMP is also investigating a motorcycle incident that occurred on Hwy 5 near the Timber Lake Forest Service Road.
Upon arrival at the scene, the incident was deemed fatal after the 60-year-old driver succumbed to his injuries on scene.
