The City of Kamloops is reminding residents that the ongoing Canada Post strike will not change the deadline for utility payments and all bills must be paid by the end of the month.
As the Canada Post strike enters its third week, the city is reminding residents that the disruption will likely impact the delivery of mailed utility bills to residents and commercial users.
All utility bills are available online through the MyCity tool.
People who signed up for eBilling received their bills by Nov. 30.
The process is fairly easy and people can view payment history, dog and business licence information and other bills. Visit this link to sign up.
Anyone who does not have access can visit city hall or call (250) 828-3438 for help accessing billing information.
There are several other ways to pay utility bills including online at Kamloops.ca/payment, via online banking, in person at city hall between 9 am and 4 pm, the drop box at city hall or dropboxes at Tournament Capital Centre, North Shore Community Policing Office, or Westsyde Pool between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.
The city reminds residents that business licence renewals are due Dec. 31 as well and can be made by visiting kamloops.ca/business.
