Kamloops woman arrested after RCMP find teen with a stab wound

A Kamloops woman has been handed a court date and could be facing charges after an intoxicated youth was found in McArthur Island Park with a stab wound.

On Wednesday night, around 10:20 pm, Kamloops RCMP officers were called to the park where they found the teen suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The youth was taken to the hospital and a woman in her 20s was arrested shortly after.

“She was held in cells until sober, then released with a court date and conditions,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.

Police say charge recommendations are expected.

The RCMP are asking anyone who may have information about this incident to call the detachment at (250) 828-3000 and refer to file 2025-6274.
