By the time this season of Food Network Canada's "Wall of Chefs" ends, Kamloops may have a new star!
The River City's own Cindy Meays is one of 40 home cooks set to compete on the show this spring. She is looking to face the wall to win $10,000 and the respect of a talented panel of chefs.
Meays profession doesn't originate in the kitchen as she works as a scientist for the Ministry of Environment. According to her friends, Meays "cooks like a chef."
In addition to Mayes, four other BC chefs will be competing in the competition. Mark Sheane is representing Langley, Silvio Zampieri is from Abbotsford, Jason Orban is from Osoyoos, and Justine Balin is from Vancouver.
