Large police presence outside Canadian Tire in Kamloops

Police officers appear to be out in force in Kamloops this afternoon.

At least four cars are outside the Canadian Tire on Hillside Drive, witnesses said.

Officers are said to be armed with rifles.

Traffic is currently being blocked on Hillside Drive, witnesses added.

There is reportedly only one car in Canadian Tire’s parking lot.

One witness said there seems to be “a perimeter” around the parking lot.
