Residents in the Kamloops should be aware that mail delivery has been cancelled across the city due to the weather conditions.
Canada Post issued a service alert at about noon, advising people that they will not be sending delivery agents out or recalling them.
“The safety of our employees is our number one priority,” states the advisory.
“Delivery will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so.”
Residents across the Thompson region are reminded to clear the snow and ice from their walkways, stairs and driveways to ensure safe access for mail carriers.
If residents have any questions regarding mail delivery, contact Canada Post's customer service team online at canadapost.ca/support or by calling 1-866-607-6301.
