Merritt has the cheapest gas prices in the province

Residents looking to fill their tank might want to head west...

According to Gasbuddy.com, As of today, Merrit has three of the four cheapest gas prices in the province of British Columbia.

Prices dropped dramatically to as low as 105.4 cents per litre at the Petro Canada on 2002 Nicola Avenue and Voght Street.

If that stop is too busy, drivers can use the Super Save on 2525 Nicola Avenue and Margaret Street where gas is just 105.9 cents per litre. Though it is a little more expensive, the Merritt Mobil is the fourth cheapest gas station in the province having gas at 112.9 cents per litre.

The cheapest gas station in Kamloops is at the Costco at 127.9 cents per litre, though residents need a Costco card to even get those prices. The next cheapest spot is the XTR on 1105 8th Street near Lethbridge Avenue.
