Mounties in Kamloops are hoping the public can help track down a missing local.
Kamloops resident Timothy Hughes, 50, was reported missing by his sister on June 13.
“Efforts to date have been unsuccessful in locating him,” said S/Sgt. Chris Kienzle.

Investigators have determined that Hughes was last known to have been seen on the North Shore on June 19.
They’ve also learned that he “is an avid kayaker” who is known to frequent the Kamloops parks and areas near the Thompson River.
Police provided the following description of Hughes:
Anyone with information on Hughes’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and quote file 2026-19694.
