They revealed no further details, but did explain the man is "safe and sound."
(Original story: Aug. 7 at 8:30 am): Police are hoping the public can help track down a missing man who vanished during the work day.
Charles Kibble, 50, was reported missing on Tuesday after not returning to work after leaving unexpectedly for a coffee break.
“Charles left his workplace in the 6500 block of Old Highway 5 in Kamloops, driving his green Jeep Cherokee, bearing BC licence plate TB124J,” explained S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet.
Shoihet noted that Kibble was last seen filling up his Jeep with gas at the Heffley Creek Store and Husky station, around two kilometres away from his workplace.
“It is uncharacteristic for Charles to leave work and not return, causing family and police to be concerned for his well-being,” added Shoihet.
