Mounties arrest 3 people after bank robbery in Kamloops

Three people are in custody after a bank robbery in Kamloops.

Police were called to the financial institution on Notre Dame Drive on Tuesday night after three people allegedly demanded money from a teller and fled the area.

Fortunately, officers were able to quickly track down and arrest three suspects, who remain in custody as the investigation continues.

“Our officers acted quickly and effectively to locate and arrest those responsible,” says Cpl. Brett Urano. “This result reflects the strong coordination and dedication of our frontline members.”

Urano adds that the RCMP is still working to gather all the details around this incident and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.

People can do so by calling the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
