The Kamloops Blazers hosted their annual Teddy Bear Toss Game on Saturday against the Portland Winterhawks.
After Connor Zary scored the opening goal 10 minutes into the first period, a total of 2,868 stuffed animals were thrown onto the ice.
On Sunday, The Blazers, who were the first team to start the Teddy Bear Toss tradition in 1993, were out delivering the bears to children staying at Royal Inland Hospital. Dylan Garand, Zane Franklin, Brodi Stuart, Martin Lang, and Orrin Centazzo all came out to meet the kids.
