Police were called to the scene at Tranquille Road and Orb Road in Brocklehurst shortly after 7 am on Monday.

CN Police told NowMedia that the armed suspect fled the area in a white sedan.

They did not say what weapon the suspect was armed with. There was also no word about whether anything was taken or if anyone was hurt during the incident.

The following suspect description was provided:

  • Caucasian male
  • 30-40 years old
  • 5’8”
  • Wearing a balaclava, black hat with white puma logo, black hoodie and black jeans

Anyone with information that could help investigators in this matter is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or CN Police at 1-800-465-9239.
