Police seek suspect after $1K worth of items stolen from Kamloops store

The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating an alleged theft suspect.

On Feb. 14, around 5 pm, RCMP officers were called to a retail location on Hillside Way for a report of a theft which resulted in more than $1,000 worth of goods being stolen.

According to a news release, the male suspect allegedly filled a shopping cart with items, did not pay for them and fled through an emergency exit.

Police say they are releasing the man’s picture to further the investigation.

He is described as being a white male, standing at 6” with a dark mustache and goatee.

He was seen wearing a dark hoodie and toque.

Mounties ask that anyone with information or who can identify the suspect to call the detachment at (250) 828-3000 and refer to file 2025-4220.
