Police seek suspect after $1K worth of items stolen from Kamloops store

The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating an alleged theft suspect.

On Feb. 14, around 5 pm, RCMP officers were called to a retail location on Hillside Way for a report of a theft which resulted in more than $1,000 worth of goods being stolen.

According to a news release, the male suspect allegedly filled a shopping cart with items, did not pay for them and fled through an emergency exit.

Police say they are releasing the man’s picture to further the investigation.
