The Kamloops RCMP are renewing their appeal for the public’s assistance in the disappearance of Shannon White, a local resident from Kamloops.
Ms. White is believed to have left her home in Lower Sahali around 8 am, on Nov. 1, she was supposed to arrive at her job at Notre Dame Drive Hyundai at 8:30 am, but she never did.
On Nov. 2, her Jeep was discovered in town parked on Nicola Street near 3rd Ave. A pink flower that typically sat above her spare tire was no longer there.
Her disappearance is considered extremely out of character and is being treated as suspicious.
“Although Shannon’s Jeep was located in Kamloops, there is a chance she could have left the city before her vehicle was located on Nov. 2,” said Corporal Dave Marshall, Kamloops RCMP Serious Crimes Unit.
“If you have seen someone you think may be Shannon, don’t dismiss it; contact police as soon as possible.”
