RCMP continuing its investigation into the death of Dylan Godfrey

Police are seeking footage from Kamloops residents as they continue to investigate the homicide of Dylan Godfrey.

Godfrey’s body was found by police in the Paul Lake area near Kamloops on April 25, and over the past week, investigators have been gathering evidence and canvassing the community.

“The Southeast District Major Crime Unit is asking anyone who was in the area of the North Shore of Kamloops that has video, or dash cam footage from April 16, 2025, at 5 am to April 22, 2025 at 10 am to please contact the Southeast District Major Crime Unit or attend the Kamloops RCMP Detachment,” reads a press release.

The Southeast District Major Crime Unit can be reached at 1-877-987-8477.

“As our investigators close in on a definitive understanding of how Mr. Godfrey was murdered and the events that transpired after, we strongly urge anyone with information or knowledge to contact our information line,” said Staff Sgt. Jason Smart.
