The Kamloops RCMP are asking for help identifying two suspects involved in an assault against a youth earlier this year.
On Mar. 14, the RCMP issued a news release that said a youth had been seriously injured in an assault the night before on the 700-block of Tranquille Road.
Police said the youth had been hit with an object, which caused an injury serious enough that they needed emergency surgery.
In an update on Thursday, police said the victim is recovering.
The detachment has also “released pictures of two suspects.
We are releasing the images to the public with the hope that someone will be able to identify them,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.
Anyone with information about the assault or who can identify the suspects is asked to call the detachment at (250) 828-3000 and refer to file 2025-7161.
