TRU is hosting its first-ever TEDx event in March and applications are open for community members who are interested in speaking.
The one-day conference on Saturday, March 3rd will follow the overarching theme “growing through our truths” and focus on some of the social issues Kamloops is facing.
“By accepting our truths for what they are, they can be used as catalysts for societal and self revolution,” local organizers say.
TEDx events are independently organized TED-like events that include a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos.
