The Kamloops and District Humane Society is looking to reunite a family of cats somewhere in the River City.
According to the society, four cats were spotted on Sunday trying to cross Notre Dame Drive in front of Budget Car Rental. The society was able to secure two of the kittens and currently have them in their care.
After returning to the area several times throughout the week, the society has been unable to apprehend the third "dark, floofy kitten" and the trio's mother.
As recently as Wednesday, fresh cat prints have been seen in the parking lots of Smith Chevrolet and Budget. The society is worried that the mother is out looking for her missing kittens.
"Cat prints have been seen on the other side of the road," wrote Barbara Zibrik with the KDHS. "She may be looking for her kittens. A cat shelter has been set up and there is food out as well."
"The staff at Budget are aware of the situation and will let us know if she and/or the kitten is spotted but it would be great if you could have a look around too. Thanks so much!"
Anyone who believes they've spotted the kittens can email the KDHS here or call (250)376-1366.
