Thieves steal $2K worth of tools from SPCA construction site

RCMP in Kamloops are searching for a pair of men after the theft of around $2,000 worth of tools.

The suspects allegedly stole the tools from the construction site for the new Kamloops SPCA around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 9.

Some of the power tools stolen had the name ‘Chudrick’ or ‘Meecham’ engraved on them and a Titan 600 paint sprayer was one of the most notable tools taken.

The suspects fled the scene in an older Dodge pickup truck.

Although the theft was captured on security video, the resolution wasn’t good enough to paint a clear picture of the men.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.

You can also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
