(UPDATE: July 20 @ 7:00 pm) – Twin Rivers drive-in theatre is back in action this weekend.
Policies have been put in place to help support staff and volunteers if its smoky on Friday and Saturday.
The theatre will be showing Beetlejuice on Friday, July 23 at 9:30 pm.
Saturday, July 24 will see hairspray playing at 9:30 pm.
Masks, hand sanitizing and social distancing are recommended as part of phase three of BC's restart plan.
The Kamloops Film Society reminds patrons that the Mad Mads Weekend Extravaganza premieres this weekend at the Paramount Theatre.

(UPDATE: July 13 @ 5:00 pm) – The Twin Rivers drive-in is cancelled for the the third week in a row.
The Kamloops Film Society extended their sincerest apologies to movie goers.
The organization explain that Kamloops' current air quality is not safe for staff, volunteers or customers to stay in for such a long period of time.
Kamloops had an air quality health index of 10+ as of 2:00 pm today.
The Kamloops Film Society explains that they are aiming to have more policies in place so that even if there is still a lot of smoke, they will be able to host the drive-in.
As of right now, Hairspray, Toy Story 4, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level are all scheduled later in the summer.
The Kamloops Film Society thanks everyone for their patience and understanding and hopes everyone stays safe during the extreme smokey conditions.

The drive-in theatre, located on McArthur Island Sports Centre, was meant to play Hairspray and Toy Story 4 this weekend.
