Starting on Monday, some major construction is set to begin on 12th Street between Tranquille Road and Kenora Road.
The work is expected to last until Oct. 31, 2022 and will include water main replacement, traffic-calming installation, surface improvements, curb and gutter installation and new pavement markings.
Throughout August, 12 street will be open to southbound traffic only, northbound traffic will detoured.
During September and October, 12th Street between Tranquille and Kenora roads will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic.
As construction gets underway, the interaction at 12 Street and Delta Avenue will be closed to all traffic.
Access will be available through Barrie Drive.
Transit Route 2: Parkcrest (outbound) will be temporarily detoured as shown below.
Regular routing (inbound) between 12th Street/Tranquille Road and Cottonwood Avenue/Willow Street will be maintained.
