Valleyview and Pioneer Park boat launches under repair

The City of Kamloops is trying to get the city as ready for summer as soon as possible, this time by repairing boat launches.

Crews are undertaking erosion repair work at the Valleyview and Pioneer Park boat launches this week to prepare for early season boaters.

During the week they are under repair, the launches will not be accessible so others looking to get on the river will have to make other arrangments.

Work is expected to be completed as early as next week.
