Value Village has moved up the hill

Value Village has closed its doors at its downtown location and set a grand opening date for its new Sahali store. The thrift store will open on November 30th at 945 W Columbia St. in the former Target location.

It will be the final of three new businesses to open at the address, joining Planet Fitness and Jump 360, both of which took over a portion of the former department store. Target shuttered its operations in 2015.

The on-site community donation centre is already operating at the Sahali Mall location and, through it, Value Village is continuing its partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kamloops.

Value Village shares proceeds from donated goods with the local non-profit.

The donation centre is open 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will expand its hours to 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays once the store opens.
