The Kamloops Airport continues to look forward following a record-setting 2019, and it seems like the weather won't be stopping that momentum today.
After 361,586 travellers came through Kamloops in 2019, more will have the chance to fly on Monday. According to YKA, the cold weather that hit the River City this weekend is causing nearly no delays.
Of the next 17 flights set to leave Kamloops, only the 12:10 pm Air Canada Flight to Calgary has been pushed back. That flight has now been changed to 12:55 pm, though that time is not set in stone. No flights entering Kamloops have been cancelled, but two Air Canada flights are set to arrive late.
"It's a beautiful, brisk morning at YKA, but our Winter Ops team has worked hard to keep airside surfaces clear," wrote YKA. "Please check the latest status of your flight, and give yourself extra time to travel safely to Kamloops Airport on the winter roads."
