The Kamloops Film Society is ready to present its first film series of 2018. The winter lineup gets underway Thursday, Jan. 11 with Faces Places, which was named Best Documentary by the New York Film Critics Circle.
Films will continue every Thursday at Paramount Theatre until Feb. 15. Showtimes are 7 p.m., weekly.
This year, the Film Society has raised its ticket prices to $10 for Series films. However, moviegoers no longer need to present a membership card at the door. Tickets are available at Movie Mart at 367 St. Paul St. and online.
