The Falkland Stampede will be taking place this weekend as the historic event returns for its 103rd year.
Stampede events will start on Saturday and run through Monday.
Thousands are expected to arrive to the small highway town and fill the grandstands to watch the action-packed rodeo and other events taking place all weekend.
Along with the main event, which is the rodeo each day, there will also be pancake breakfasts, beer gardens, evening dances and a parade that's set for 12:30 pm Sunday along Hwy 97.
Starting at 1 pm on Saturday and Monday, and 2 pm Sunday following the parade, the rodeo will be around three hours long each day, with a halftime show performed by Full Throttle Trick Riding and Yule Ponies.
Tim Edge will return to announce the rodeo and Dennis Halstead will be providing entertainment as the rodeo clown while at the same time distracting the livestock and protecting the cowboys.
Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis and is located in a field directly across from the stampede grounds.
Tickets are available to be purchased online, with there being options to buy day passes or weekend passes.
Pets are permitted on the rodeo grounds, but they must remain on a leash and are not allowed on the grandstands.
Earlier this week, organizers put out a call for volunteers and you can email [email protected] to inquire about that.
