Jordan Davis is bringing his 2024 world tour to Kelowna

If you’re itching to see some live country music after Denim (off) the Diamond over the weekend, an exciting concert announcement was made today.

Jordan Davis will be bringing his 2024 world tour to Kelowna with a stop at Prospera Place on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024.

Kelowna is one of several newly-announced dates for the sold-out Damn Good Time Tour, with Davis also set to play in Seattle, Abbotsford, Calgary and Edmonton next year.

The show is more than 12 months away, so you’ll have to reel in your excitement a bit, but tickets do go on sale this week.

Presale tickets will be made available through The Parish, his fan club, on Wednesday, then general sale tickets will go on sale at 10 am on Friday.

Davis’ debut single, “Singles You Up,” was released in mid-2017 and it hit No. 1 on country charts in Canada and the United States.

While that was the first time he’s topped the charts, he’s done it several times since with tunes like “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot,” “Buy Dirt,” “What My World Spins Around” and, most recently, “Next Thing You Know.”

“Buy Dirt” won a Country Music Award for Song of the Year in 2022 and Davis will be looking to repeat, as “Next Thing You Know” is nominated for this year’s award with the show just a few weeks away.

“It has been an amazing feeling to watch the way this new music has reached fans, and we’ve been seeing that out on the road in the live shows," Davis said in his American Songwriter Cover story earlier this year.

"Our fans knew every lyric to ‘Next Thing You Know’ even before it was a single, and to watch the sold-out venues get bigger and bigger….I’m just so grateful everyone has been so supportive."

Tickets to see Davis at Prospera Place, with Ashley Cooke opening, will go on sale through Select Your Tickets.
