Missing woman spends most of her time in Kelowna, was last seen in Kamloops: RCMP

Mounties are looking for a woman that could seemingly be anywhere in the Thompson-Okanagan.

According to the Kamloops RCMP, 42-year-old Katherine ‘Katie’ Gillis was last seen in the North Shore area of Kamloops on the afternoon of Monday, May 26.

While last seen in Kamloops, police note that Gillis spends most of her time in Kelowna, but may have been planning on heading elsewhere this time around.

“Katherine told a family member she was intending on going to Chase,” explained Cpl. Dana Napier.

Police provided the following description of Gillis:

  • Caucasian female
  • 5’4”
  • 108 lbs
  • Brown hair with several colours in it
  • Grey eyes

Anyone with information on Gillis’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 and quote file number 2025-16349.
