The lineup for Rock The Lake 2024 has doubled in size.
Following the reveal of the first four names on the bill in April, organizers kicked off May with the announcement of four more acts this morning.
Daughtry, Hoobastank, Texas King and Lynam will all be a part of the festivities in the outdoor plaza at Prospera Place in mid-July.
They’re joining Tom Cochrane, Theory of a Deadman, Our Lady Peace and 54-50 on the lineup.
GSL Group’s VP and GM of sports, media and entertainment called Daughtry and Hoobastank “major additions” to this year’s festival.
“We are committed to bringing bigger, more internationally acclaimed names to the Okanagan, and we believe that these artists’ touring successes prove the incredible energy they will add to the weekend,” he said.
“This year’s line-up is one of our most exciting to date and we’re more than thrilled with the variety of bands, exciting new site layout and overall experience we have planned!”
The lineup reveal is not over, as more artists and the full bill will be revealed over the coming weeks.
Rock the Lake will take place outside Prospera Place from Friday, July 12, through Sunday, July 14, this year, a month earlier than the festival has typically been held.
When announcing the date change and initial artists in April, organizers cited wildfire concerns as the reason for holding the festival in July instead of August.
“The choice to move the dates was not an easy one, however, we are fully invested in this community and event, and we feel we needed to make this change to set this festival and community up for success,” Strawn explained at the time.
Full weekend passes for Rock The Lake 2024 are available through Select Your Tickets and they will set you back $189 after fees and taxes. VIP passes are available as well.
