A statement from the league said the investigation was into possible violations of team rules and the WHL Standard of Conduct policies.
Ungar, the Warriors starting goalie, is the elder statesmen of the group at 21 years of age. Wanner is 19 and was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 2021. Howell and Lakovic are both 16.
While the WHL has been mum on the investigation into these players since announcing their suspensions on Saturday, the police aren’t saying much either.
