Michael Prechel on AI’s Role in Business and the Level Up 2024 Summit

Michael Prechel of Prechel CPA, recently shared his thoughts on the growing impact of AI on businesses, particularly in the Okanagan region, as well as his excitement for the upcoming Level Up AI Summit. Prechel mentioned a local company, Forag, that has transformed from mushroom farming to robotics, using AI to perfect their harvesting process. "AI is hitting every industry," he said. "Whether you're an accounting firm or a mushroom grower, it's crucial to stay on top of it."

The conversation also touched on the importance of using AI wisely in business strategy. Prechel noted, "It's not humans versus AI—it's humans versus humans using AI." He encouraged local entrepreneurs to attend the summit and explore how AI could help them grow their businesses and stay competitive.
