In the midst of his second full season with the Kamloops Blazers, Harrison Brunicke has caught the eye of NHL scouts.
The 17-year-old was announced earlier this week on the NHL Central Scouting department’s first watch list for the 2023/24 season.
Brunicke was given a ‘C’ ranking, indicating that he could be a possible fourth or fifth-round pick at the 2024 NHL draft.
The defenceman appeared in 59 games last season, accumulating four goals and four assists, adding on two more assists in 14 playoff games.
Brunicke has so far played in 12 games this season, tallying a goal and an assist.
The Blazers are back at home as they host the Tri-City Americans on Friday and Saturday night at the Sandman Centre.
