The Kamloops Blazers will be without one of their top defensemen for their next tilt.
According to WHL Discipline, Inaki Baragano has been suspended for one game after a check from behind in a game against the Everett Silvertips on Saturday. Baragano was given a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct for the hit.
Baragano becomes the fifth Blazer to be suspended this season. In total, the Blazer players have missed ten games thanks to cross-checks, a hit from behind, goaltender interference, and a vicious knee-on-knee.
The Swiss product won't play tonight as Kamloops hosts Victoria at 7 pm in the Sandman Centre. He is expected to be back for the club's Friday matchup versus the Vancouver Giants.
