Logan Stankoven, who was recently returned to the Blazers after spending more than a month with the Dallas Stars at their training camp, was selected as team captain.
Last year, Stankoven split the captaincy with Quinn Schmiemann, but with Schmiemann aging out of the league, the 19-year-old hometown kid will be rocking the 'C' for every game in their Memorial Cup season.
The Blazers decided to split up their assistant captain positions, with three different players wearing the letter at home and away.
At home, Ethan Brandwood, Caeden Bankier and Fraser Minten will be alternates, while away from home Drew Englot, Daylan Kuelfer and Matt Seminoff will have the 'A'.
Brandwood, 20, has spent the past five seasons patrolling the blue line for the Blazers. Bankier is coming off a career 60 point season, while Minten is in his third year with the team and recently agreed to a contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Englot came over in a trade with the Regina Pats last year, where he was their assistant captain. Kuefler and Seminoff both put up close to 60 points (59, 57) a season ago and will be heavily relied upon to duplicate their scoring outburst.
So far this season, the Blazers have started out 3-1-0-0, with their only loss coming in their home opener to the Portland Winterhawks.
Stankoven will make his debut with the team this season on Friday as Kamloops battles the Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Washington.
