After making two selections in the first round of the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft on Wednesday, the Kamloops Blazers brass were back in action on Thursday.
The day began with the 2025 WHL US Priority Draft, which saw the Blazers select defencemen Collin Kim 15th overall and Chase Gill 33rd overall.
Kim played for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks U14 team this season and managed 58 points in 46 games.
Gill appeared in 54 games for the California Goldrush HC U14 team, tallying 13 goals and 35 assists.
Following the US draft, the prospects draft resumed, and the Blazers selected Brady Ondrus 29th overall.
The 5’9” forward had 51 points in 35 games for the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL).
The Blazers then took Dilin Coulter-Suttie 53rd overall before snagging a goalie, Lane Bullee of Red Deer, at 74th overall.
Coulter-Suttie had 87 points in 29 games with the Saskatoon Bandits U15 AA team this season.
Bullee appeared in 18 games for the Red Deer U15 AAA Rebels this season, managing a .914 save percentage, a 2.62 goals against average and 13 wins.
Following the selection of Bullee, the Blazers picked forward Briggs Fabro 97th overall.
The Lethbridge native appeared in 34 games for the Lethbridge Golden Hawks U15 AAA squad, scoring 23 goals and adding 29 helpers.
