The Kamloops Broncos are at home today as they host the Valley Huskers at Hillside Stadium for their second-last game of the season.
Kamloops is entering the game with momentum as they managed their first win of the season last weekend and took home the offensive and defensive player of the week awards.
The Broncos held on in the back-and-forth game that ended in their favour 31-25, taking the lead with less than a minute to play in the game against the Vancouver Island Raiders.
Tayen Lloyd was stellar for the Broncos as he completed 13 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns. The QB also ran 129 yards on 13 carries and two rushing touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, Abe Fimbo was named defensive player of the week for his eight-tackle performance.
The Valley Huskers are currently on a two-game win streak after they defeated the Langley Rams 26-9 last week.
Reece Wyke earned special teams player of the week after he went 4/4 kicking field goals and 2/2 on conversions for the Huskers.
It is an early game at Hillside Stadium as kick off is at 1 pm. Head to the stadium early and take part in the tailgate party that starts at 11 am.
