The Kamloops Long Blades team was in action this past weekend, competing in both Calgary and Salmon Arm.
Five skaters raced at the Calgary Olympic Oval for the Western Elite Circuit #2, while others took the ice at the Interior FUNale in Salmon Arm.
At the Calgary competition, Sylvie Lloyd finished first among senior females, while posting a personal best time.
With three personal best times, Leah Turner achieved second place in Women’s Group 2.
Gillian Goud finished in second place among the senior men in Men’s Group 2.
While earning a personal best time, Caleb Van der Merwe finished in seventh place in Men’s Group 2.
Patrick Gu finished in third place in Men’s Group 3, while earning four personal best times, one in each distance.
In Salmon Arm, Lucas Kopp achieved personal best times in all five of his races.
Four personal best times were earned by Ashton Loland and Zane Beggs.
Hallie Sadegur, Rory Cameron, Camilla Mejia, Rory Hewitt and John Katchen each earned three personal best times.
Posting two personal best times each were Clara Beggs and Jack Hewitt, while Keidis Corrigan and Jared Roberts each posted one personal best time at the meet.
Next up for the Kamloops Long Blades will be the Richmond Rockets Interclub meet on Feb. 18.
