Young Stars Classic ticket packages are on sale

Ticket packages for the 2023 Young Stars Classic in Penticton are on sale as of 10 am today.

The event will feature prospects from the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and the Winnipeg Jets.

There will be six round robin games and an exhibition game of the 2023 BCHL champion Penticton Vees versus the Chilliwack Chiefs.

Game 1: Winnipeg vs Edmonton - Sept. 15, 4:00 pm
Game 2: Calgary vs Vancouver - Sept. 15, 7:30 pm
Exhibition: Penticton Vees vs Chilliwack Chiefs - Sept. 16, 2:00 pm
Game 3: Calgary vs Edmonton - Sept. 16, 7:30 pm
Game 4: Vancouver vs Winnipeg - Sept. 17, 2:00 pm
Game 5: Winnipeg vs Calgary - Sept. 18, 11:00 am
Game 6: Vancouver vs Edmonton - Sept. 18, 2:30 pm

Games will take place at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SEOC) Sept. 15-18, 2023, and this will be the 10th time the event is hosted in Penticton.

Names such as Connor McDavid and Elias Pettersson have made appearances for their respective teams in previous years, and most recently, World Hockey Championship MVP Arturs Silovs made an appearance.

Purchasing a ticket package can be done online or at the SEOC box office.

Single game tickets will go on sale in August, with a specific date yet to be announced.

There will be lots of fun activities going on outside including the Young Stars Classic Party on the plaza and Minor Hockey Skills and Referee Clinics.
