Canucks prospects will be joined by youngsters from the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets organization at the pre-season showcase.
"The Young Stars Classic is a key event for the Vancouver Canucks organization and one that we are extremely proud to be hosting again in Penticton for the next two years," said Jim Rutherford, president of hockey operations for the Canucks.
"The tournament provides a great opportunity for similar aged prospects to play and practice in a competitive environment, in front of thousands of fans.”
This year’s tournament will mark the 10th edition of the Young Stars Classic, which began in 2010 but took a few years off between 2019-21.
In 2022, the Young Stars Classic featured several players who have played NHL games this season, like Vancouver’s Nils Åman and Arturs Silovs, Calgary's Walker Duehr and Jakob Pelletier, Edmonton's Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg, and Winnipeg's Cole Perfetti.
Once again, the four teams will play a six-game round robin when the tournament returns to the SOEC from Sept 15-18, 2023.
A complete schedule and ticket information will be released at a later date.
