Police have confirmed that one person died in a crash just north of Prince George on Sunday night.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Hwy 97 near Bear Lake around 5 pm for a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
By the time police investigators arrived at the scene, they were informed that the motorcycle rider did not survive the crash.
The pickup driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“What we are looking for from the public is anyone with dash camera video that was driving in that area at the time of the collision, or anyone who witnessed the incident that has not yet spoken to police,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

The RCMP extended their thoughts to the family and friends of the motorcyclist who passed away.
The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
