A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at another Okanagan long-term care home.
Four staff members have tested positive for the virus at Sunnybank Retirement Centre in Oliver, Interior Health said.
Everyone who came into contact with the staff members is now in self-isolation.
Interior Health said there is no sign of any connection between the outbreak at Sunnybank and at the nearby McKinney Place long-term care home.
There are 51 publicly funded long-term care beds at Sunnybank.
Outbreak protocols are now in place at the centre, meaning all visits have been paused.
Interior Health will also monitor all residents for respiratory problems and implement enhanced cleaning practices.
